A New Direction in My Life’s Work
Never Standing Still — Even After a Lifetime of Achievement
A New Chapter
Not because one is unwilling to let go,
but because one wishes to continue making a difference —
with clarity of mind, with experience, and with responsibility.
After many decades, the time had come to give space to the next generation.
Not to stand in their way, but to allow them to follow their own path.
Thus, the company NORAS MRI products GmbH & Co. KG was passed on to the next generation.
It is a natural step.
A step of trust.
And a step that allows the focus to turn toward new responsibilities.
Passing On What Remains
Experience does not end with the transfer of a company.
It remains. It grows. And it seeks new ways to create meaningful impact.
Today, my focus turns toward a different task —
toward children, toward South Africa, toward the future.
Not merely to help through donations,
but through personal presence, through time, through listening, and through responsibility.
It is about creating spaces.
Places where children find safety.
Places where they are allowed to arrive.
Places that give them a sense of home.
Responsibility Knows No Age
It is not right to stand still.
It is right to continue where one is needed.
Experience is not an ending — it is an opportunity.
An opportunity not only to give space to the next generation, but also to support it.
An opportunity to pass on what a lifetime has taught.
For there is never a moment when it is too late to do something meaningful.

South Africa -
A New
Responsibility
With the transition of my company, a new chapter of my life began.
Today, I spend part of the year living in South Africa, dedicating my time to children and institutions in need of support.
For me, this is not only about financial assistance.
It is about being personally present, listening, and building trust.
I support several children’s homes and local institutions through my experience, my time, and my practical skills.
I help where help is needed — whether in hands-on work, organizational matters, or everyday life.
Closeness, Trust, and Shared Time
I consciously dedicate special moments of the year to the children.
At Easter, on St. Nicholas Day, and at Christmas, I organize small celebrations and bring gifts.
I make music with them, spend time with them, and create moments of joy and security.
Often, it is the simple things that make the greatest difference:
shared laughter, listening, encouragement, and simply being there.
Passing On Experience – Carrying Forward Responsibility
My professional life has taught me the importance of responsibility.
Today, I wish to pass that experience on — not within a company, but within life itself.
It is a task that brings meaning.
A task that shows one should never stop contributing.
For every person has something to give —
time, experience, trust, and hope.

🎭 My Journey in Würzburg’s Carnival Tradition
Carnival was part of my life from a very early age.
It was, quite literally, something I was born into. My father was actively involved in the Würzburg Carnival parade, and through him I grew up surrounded by this vibrant tradition.

In 1985, I was appointed to the Elferrat of the 1st Carnival Society Elferrat Würzburg e.V.
In 1996/97, I had the great honor of serving as Carnival Prince of the City of Würzburg.
I was awarded the “Till von Franken,” the highest distinction granted to a Franconian carnivalist.

For decades, I have remained actively connected to Würzburg’s Carnival — not only as a participant, but as a supporter and advocate of its cultural heritage.
Würzburg’s Carnival has been a defining part of my life — a tradition I have proudly supported for more than four decades.
